It’s a well known fact that photographer Mario Testino shoots a majority of the current Vogue covers and main spreads. While I love Testino’s work, Gilles Bensimon is where it is at! The legendary photographer worked with Karlie Kloss again for French Vogue and the shots give me 80’s supermodel glamour! This is what true fashion lovers want. We need the drama of a beautiful creature, the lush landscapes of exotic locales, and a photographer who focuses less on smiley celebrity wannabe models and more on actual supermodels who can translate a story.
Pay attention to the styling too! Karlie works the pink trend along with neon orange, khaki shades, and army greens. I need to find a way to interpret these color combos into my own personal street style. Enjoy the full spread below! The shoot was styled by Claire Dhelens.
