Summers in The South can be brutal. Here in Columbia it’s going to be 95 degrees. Factor in the humidity, and it will feel like 102 degrees! Can someone say, “Hot as Hell!?” But the heat hasn’t completely fried my brain or style aesthetic. This week’s Working Woman Wednesday is inspired by the stylish bohemian woman. Their boho look is so effortlessly chic and with blazing temps…effortless is exactly what the doctor ordered.
Jumpsuits and rompers are perfect for August and the upcoming Labor Day holiday. I know a lot of women are prepping their fall wardrobes, but it’s important to live and dress for the NOW! A jumpsuit made out of lightweight cotton or fabric is stylish and breathable.
Rompers and jumpsuits give such a vintage ‘70s vibe so it’s important to balance the look. Keep the theme with a gold statement necklace and simplistic flats or thong sandals. But make the look modern by mixing eras. I styled this look with sunglasses that have an ‘80s feel. By mixing two different eras your vintage boho look is elevated to a modern vintage.
Finding the right fit is essential with a jumpsuit or romper. Just say NO to camel toes! A wrong fit or camel toe is an outfit killer.
Good luck in this heat ladies and happy styling.
