Emmy Awards 2014 Best Dressed
House of Cards did not win the Emmy Awards that I wanted them to win. While I am upset about the loss, I am still pumped and excited about all the fabulous fashions from last night’s red carpet! In the previous post (below) I posted the awesome looks, and after much rest and reflection, I have compiled the Best Dressed list from the Emmy’s 2014. Competition was tough but some ladies managed to stand out and break from the pack.
1. Allison Janney
The actress won 2 Emmy Awards last night and dazzled in a Nicholas Jebran Gown

2. Angela Bassett
Angela is a queen and proved it while wearing a Elisabetta Franchi gown. Head to toe fabulous!

3. Allison Williams
The ‘Girls’ star proved that she is not a girl but a sophisticated woman. She wore Giambattista Valli and killed it!

4. Betsy Brandt
‘Breaking Bad’ may be over but Brandt’s style is going strong. The actress took a risk with a feminine floral. I adore this Alice + Olivia dress!

5. Robin Wright
Just like her character on ‘House of Cards’, Robin Wright was clean, sleek, and simple. No one else wore white like her. Calvin Klein had to be pleased.

All of these ladies deserve a standing ovation. Some took risks and others reinvented conventional looks. Out of all of my best dressed I will have to give the #1 spot to Allison Williams. That Gimbattista gown is like a dream. It has structure, it is fashion forward but still traditional. Give me a minute…I need a tissue. I am shedding tears of joy over the success of last night’s amazing red carpet.
